I am now an official volunteer at Whole Paycheck a.k.a. Whole Foods. They have a program where you can sign up as a kitchen slave volunteer, you do the gruntwork prepwork, and you take the cooking classes for free. Many of the instructors are pretty A+ chefs. How much fun is that?
