things I did today

Today was an unscheduled day.  My favorite kind that comes around all too rarely.  A few pics from the day....

I hung out with Busy.  We watered flowers with squirt guns, caught pretty rocks with bug nets and has a pretzel snack. Oh, and then Holly came and had lunch with us at the Sacramento Co-op.

I went for a bike ride around midtown with Laura.  Took a pic of a statue of a missionary near L and 10th and had yum chai latte at Weatherstone Old Soul coffee.

Tonight I made zucchini dill pickles with garden veggies....

...while watching The Bachelorette on my new fancy tv.

How does my garden grow?

With carrot greens and purple beans, and strawberries that grow and grow. The weather is warming up, the seeds are sprouting, and the tomatoes are starting to bloom. Soon there will be salsa and pesto, and strawberry shortcake.
The battle against the squirrels, birds, and snails begins.
