Went to the Library of Congress (thanks for the suggestion). Wow! That was amazing. Sooo much fun. They also have a temporary exhibit on the "Crystal Skull." Did I mention wow? They still use vacuum tubes to send book requests up to the deck where a librarian finds the book and sends it down a dumbwaiter. They have 5,000 employees plus 1,400 librarians. And a great little bistro nearby.

So glad you were impressed with the LOC! After I raved about it and insisted you go see it, I thought, "Oh, she'll probably think it's boring and a waste of time." Can't wait to go to NMAI. And to the National Portrait gallery. Wheee!
