I got word today on a new apartment. A friend is moving from her place a few blocks away and gave me a heads up on the upgrade.
Speaking of the upgrades, here's the list:
-garden/yard
-garage space
-fantastic cook/handyman/craft buddy next door
-small fuzzy neighbors
-a kitchen large enough for more than one person to stand in
-more windows!
I'm taking the fact that I broke my key off in my current apartments lock as a sign. So in the meantime I'll be hanging out at the coffee shop down the street using the internet planning out the new space.
